Applicants must have shown a horse in a minimum of four total classes across any combination of two NVWDA-Recognized Live Shows or NVWDA-Scenic Saddle Virtual Shows within the application calendar year. Applicants must have been an NVWDA member for at least 60 days, and have a WDAA and NVWDA memebrship in good standing.


A total of five (5) NVWDA Ride & Learn Funds are awarded annually. One Open, one Amateur, one Junior (under age 18), one Therapeutic/Exceptional Adult, and one Therapeutic/Exceptional Junior (under age 18). Each fund includes an (up to) $250 reimbursement paid to members for use toward educational or personal development activities such as lessons, clinics, or workshops. Activities can be conducted live or virtually.
Applications must be submitted via the NVWDA website form below between June 1 and June 30 each calendar year. Late submissions will not be accepted. Recipients will be announced on July 30 and contacted via email.
