A $1K Grant To Compete at WDAA World Show Awaits!

Are you itching to compete at the 2026 WDAA World Show? The NVWDA Pathway To World Show Grant offers one lucky rider $1,000 to help with the journey each year. 

Registration Opens June 1: Don't Miss Out!

Registration for the NVWDA Pathway to WDAA World Show Grant is open from 12:00 pm on June 1 and will close at 11:59pm on June 30. Take that leap of faith and apply today. Complete details and our easy to submit online application are below.

Do You Qualify?

  • Membership: must be a WDAA and NVWDA member in good standing for at least 120 days.
  • Show Participation: must submit a minimum combination of any four NVWDA-recognized live or virtual show test scores from this year.
  • Judging: scores must be from at least two different “R” judges.
  • Level Specificity: scores must be from the same level at which the horse/rider combo will compete during the WDAA World Show.
  • Test 3 or Test 4: a minimum of one score submission must be from either Test 3 or Test 4 of that level.
  • Limitations: one application per declared horse/rider combo in good standing will be accepted.
  • High Point Declarations: applicant must have a High Point horse/rider combo declaration on file in good standing during the current competition year. (Applications received that do not have the same High Point horse/rider combo declared on file in good standing will be discarded.)
  • Calendar Year Participation: winning horse/rider combo grant valid within the 2026 calendar year only.

Submit Your Application

PLEASE NOTE: This application process will take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete.

Documentation:

All required documentation uploads must be provided when submitting the application form. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted. Applications are accepted from 12:00 pm on June 1 through 11:59 pm on June 30. The winning recipient will be announced online on July 30 and contacted via e-mail.

Selection Process:

One winning applicant will be selected by random drawing on July 30.

How You Earn Entries:

Applicants receive one entry for each "YES" response submitted on their NVWDA Pathway to World Show Grant Online Application.

Bonus Entry Opportunities: (NOTE: Bonus entry uploads must occur at the time of submission)

  1. Applicants can earn five bonus entries by submitting the highest four-summed scores across all verified applications received within the same Division.
    NOTE: Scores from Basic Level and above will be weighted as follows to create a balanced evaluation:
    - Introductory: +0
    - Basic Level: +0.5
    - Level 1: +1
    - Level 2: +1.5
    - Level 3: +2
    - Level 4: +2.5
    - Level 5: +3
  2. Applicants can earn two bonus entries for submitting the runner-up highest four- summed test scores across all verified applications received.
  3. Applicants can earn five bonus entries by submitting a signed and dated recommendation letter (from a coach, friend, mentor or parent) during their application submission.
  4. Applicants can earn three bonus entry numbers by uploading a video (via YouTube link) of them and their horse riding a complete test in the level they are applying for, filmed within the past six months.

The application questionnaire is a series of YES/NO questions, containing 3 questions organized into 5 different criteria.
