Register for High Point Annual Award Programs
$15 per rider/horse combo, per level, up to two consecutive levels are allowed per rider/horse combo, per year.
** Registration must be completed during sign-up or 48 hours before the first show of 2026. ALL Levels of membership must register & declare horse/rider Level combo(s) every year.
Register for High Point Breed Award Program
$35 per horse, per year.
** Registration must be completed during membership sign-up or 48 hours before the first show of 2026. ALL Levels of membership must register & declare horse BREED every year.
Community Engagement Credits
The Nevada Western Dressage Association (NVWDA) is a member-driven organization. To support our mission, all general annual members must complete at least two (2) Community Engagement Credits per calendar year. Members can fulfill these credits through simple virtual tasks or live event service by November 30 each calendar year. THE CONVENIENCE "OPT-OUT" PATHWAY
Members can bypass the engagement credit requirement by selecting the
$20 Community Engagement Contribution checkbox during online checkout or annual renewal. These upfront contributions fund our educational clinics, events, scholarships, grants, personal enrichment, and year-end banquet awards.

Do I have to LIVE in Nevada or Utah to be a member of NVWDA?
NO, NVWDA has members across a variety of states in the U.S. We welcome any and all WD enthusiasts to join in our #NVWDAcommunity fun!
What is the annual competition calendar for your annual High Point Awards?
NVWDA calendar runs from January 1- Decemeber 31 annually.
What are Community Engagement Credits?
Community Engagement Credits are simple activities along the lines of traditional volunteer activites (but easier) that encourage connectivity and support of our mission, within the #NVWDAcommunity. Credits are accomplished by completing any variety (it’s totally your choice) of simple, fun virtual-based or live activities and tasks available throughout the year, due by November 30.
I live in a remote area, what type of Community Engagement activities are available to me?
Obtaining your annual Community Engagement Credits can be done from ay smart phone or computer remotely. We offer a variety of easy to complete tasks such as but not limited to writing a 2 or 3 line google business or social media public review of NVWDA, sharing #NVWDA social media posts on your personal social media feeds, updating your NVWDA.org website member profile data annually (**coming 2028) etc.
Am I required to be a Member in order to participate in NVWDA LIVE Recognized Shows or the NVWDA Scenic Saddle Virtual Show Series?
NO, exhibitors are not required to be members to participate in NVWDA-sanctioned or NVWDA-recognized live shows or our NVWDA Scenic Saddle Virtual Show Series. However, keep in mind that as an NVWDA member you will receive prioroty registration and exclusive Member pricing for events. PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a member, you will not be eligible to receive awards in any NVWDA Recognized LIVE Show Award Program or the NVWDA Scenic Saddle Virtual Show Series High Point Award Programs.
